Living Life Social Events is proud to host Taste of the Region 2016 – Welcome to the Jungle. The event will be hosted at Pearl Nightlife, 341 Marsland Drive, Waterloo on Saturday, May 14th, 2016. We will be greeting our guests at 11:30am with our signature jungle drink, delectable hors deouvres, and our themed Welcome to the Jungle photo booth! The fun continues while we board chartered city buses and tour the Regions finest establishments providing our guests with an opportunity to sample signature dishes and beverages at each one. These chefs are guaranteed to entice your taste buds and introduce you to their passion of cooking. While traveling on your bus, please welcome the Taste of the Region hosts and hostesses as they charm you with their dazzling personalities and guide you through a day of exciting culinary adventures. We will complete this fun-filled day with a scrumptious dessert reception and a Live and Silent auction. All proceeds will be donated to Ray of Hope. Through various programs, they offer care without judgment and provide a safe and inviting atmosphere of encouragement and hope to men and women in South Central Ontario. The proceeds raised from this event will directly support the Employment Training Program. Since the year 2000, Ray of Hope has provided an important six month program for young people 16-28 years old who have experienced a variety of employment barriers. Whether they have not finished high school, are struggling with substances, or even have a criminal record, the Morning Glory Café & Bakery Employment Training Program works with each participant with a goal of providing them with employable skills for a better job and life skills for a better future. Whether struggling with crime, addiction or homelessness, these men and women are in need of a caring word, a kind hand and a concerned heart. We hope to see you out for a fun-filled day for a worthwhile cause!
