TeamKids raises money for the Women's and Children's Hospital, and is the fundraising platform for the Women's and Children's Hospital Foundation. The Women's & Children's Hospital Foundation aims to raise $40 million over the next 10 years to benefit the Women's and Children's Hospital through an annual TeamKids Beyond Bank Easter Appeal and other initiatives. The TeamKids Beyond Bank Easter Appeal is an exciting joint initiative between the WCH Foundation and the State Government in partnership with Channel Nine Adelaide, The Advertiser and Sunday Mail. As the state’s only dedicated specialist children's hospital and largest maternity and obstetric service, it holds a very special place in the hearts of almost every South Australian family. Around 5,000 babies are born at the hospital each year and more than a quarter of a million of our children and mums are treated by a dedicated, skilled and committed hospital community. TeamKids is committed to raising money with the South Australian community to help ensure that mums, children and their families have access to the very best in medical care, hospital facilities and support services at a time when they need it most. We help to make hospital stays more comfortable and less stressful, and assist in advancing research into preventing disease, the search for cures, and improving quality of life.
