The 4X4 Experience Inc. is a family affair, run by Land Rover Defender enthusiasts for enthusiasts. Owned and operated by the Girling family for many years the company has previously run media events for Land Rover Canada, dealer events and customer off-road training courses. More recently the focus has been on retail sales of Defender accessories and Land Rover memorabilia from our website. Owner Kevin Girling has also written International and North American feature stories for Land Rover Owner International, Land Rover enthusiast and most recently Land Rover World, all UK based magazines focused on the Land Rover brand. 'My time in South Africa on safari and covering Land Rover Centurion Defender Trophy for Land Rover World magazine was responsible for my passion for the Defender so I bought one and imported it to Canada". Only 535 of the 110 model were ever officially imported into North America so they remain a rarity. Imports to the USA are acceptable if the vehicle is 25 years or older, 15 years for Canada. With the number of vehicles slowly increasing the need for accessories is growing and we hope to meet that demand.
