The Angel Institute is Ballarat’s premier hairdressing college with hundreds of successful graduates. Real salon work experience with industry recognised trainers is provided to all students. Funded courses are available to eligible students, and courses are offered full time or part time. Begin an exciting career in hairdressing with this nationally recognised course! The Angel Hair and Beauty Institute is driven by a passion to relay the techniques of great hairdressing to new entrants to the industry. Because we are a small school we can provide the personal attention to every student that the bigger schools cannot. We maintain a realistic student to teacher ratio and we interview prospective students before enrolment to ensure that we have a healthy mix of dedicated students who are serious about wanting to learn and excel at their new craft. Students are taught classic methods as well as the latest techniques in by expert instructors in intimate, interactive classes. Students undertake intensive practical training so that they will emerge from the Institute as professional, desirable employees who are competent, proficient and who take pride in their work. An important part of the practical training aspect of this course is the hands on practicing of a wide range of services on the public in the Institute’s salons. The Institute works with a network of Salons across Australia. Salon owners and staff looking to employ graduates constantly approach the Institute. We provide the best opportunities for graduates to gain employment. The Angel Hair & Beauty Institute is proud to offer its courses at a substantially lower cost than other training providers. If you are an Australian citizen or resident, you might be funded under the Skills Victoria ‘Securing Jobs for Your Future’ program. There are some requirements, so contact us to find out if you are eligible. Most people qualify; some of the criteria are: - must be an Australian citizen - must NOT hold a Certificate III in any other field (if age 20 or over) Both courses will be FREE OF CHARGE if you qualify. The only payment required is for your equipment which is $200 if doing Certificate II or $400 for Certificate III.
