Button Factory Arts was formerly The Waterloo Community Centre. It was founded in 1993 and made its home within an old Button Manufacturing building that was built in 1886. The City of Waterloo's LACAC has designated the building as an architecturally significant and historic landmark. This inspiring building has been our home ever since!

Description
Button Factory Arts features a range of arts programming within our space which includes studios, galleries, and performance space. BFA offers diverse range of courses including both traditional skill-building and contemporary explorations for all ages. We are also a shared workspace, home to The Baden Story Tellers, Theatre on the Edge, Kitchener Waterloo Society of Artist and many more! We work together to provide two floors of authentic and creative programming, gallery exhibitions, concerts, art classes, workshops and rehearsal space. We pride ourselves on maintaining an inclusive environment, open to artists and art appreciators from all backgrounds, ages, cultures and levels of experience.
