Welcome to The Cathedral School's official Facebook page. Cathedral is the only Anglican school in Townsville for boys and girls from Early Childhood (Approved Kindergarten Provider) to Year 12, including boarding students from Year 7 to Year 12. At Cathedral, we are 'educating for life-long success' . We know that this requires a well-rounded education - to develop the "whole person" by nurturing the body and spirit as well as the mind. Students are continually challenged and encouraged to take advantage of the exceptional opportunities available at Cathedral. A careful balance of academic, sporting, cultural and spiritual activities produces confident, well-rounded individuals who are prepared for the challenges of life. Townsville State High School, also known as Town High, is a school in the Australian state of Queensland.Townsville State High School was established in 1924 and was located at the northwest corner of Stanley and Walker Streets in the city. The building is now a TAFE campus. The current High School is located at 36-64 Boundary St, Railway Estate, Townsville opposite a previous dump. This move took place in 1965.
