the Eikon Project has a long history as a dream and short history as a reality. It began six years ago as a web of ideas tying together biblical education, spiritual formation, and personal well-being. Those ideas developed into a vision for creating learning environments that foster integration between the biblical narrative, the spiritual narrative, and the personal narrative. We'll talk more about what we mean by each of those narratives as we begin to develop this online space and put our vision into reality. For now, you can imagine our vision in this way: school + temple + therapy office. We are currently developing the "school" aspect of our vision. Our focus is on creating learning environments that take seriously the study of the biblical narrative in its original contexts, the mystery of Christian faith, and the presence of competing narratives from within and without us. Put more simply, we strive to infuse each of our courses with honesty, humility, and awareness.
