The Meal Tree was created out of love for Mums who need nourishment in the days after giving birth. The service is available to anyone who doesn't have the time or energy to be able to sit down to at least one nourishing meal a day that has been created with love and intent. We have a "New Mother" basket especially created for new Mums to cover the first 5 days postpartum. All meals are available not only for the Mother, but for families as well. My journey with The Meal Tree began a couple of years ago when I decided to become a birth and postnatal Doula. I noticed that Mums were finding it difficult to sit down to at least one nutritious meal a day. This of course was causing complete imbalance and coping with not only having a newborn but life itself was becoming quite difficult for Mums I was working with. So I started to cook. In early 2013 I launched a pilot project across Perth, delivering free meals to new and Mums-to-be. The response was phenomenal, the feedback overwhelming. I made it a product of my Doula business 123 Mother2B and it has since flourished. It's now time to launch across Perth and offer the service to Mums and families that need a bit of a break. Not having to worry about meals when arriving home after giving birth, after stays in hospital or even just because time is running away from you - you can rely on The Meal Tree to deliver wholesome, nutritious meals right to your door.
