Matthew & Kirsty are a husband & wife team consisting of a painter & stylist. Running two businesses they found that they quite often overlapped, with Matt often being roped into painting for Kirstys projects & Kirsty offering colour consultations & decorating services to Matts clients. Light bulb moment occurred & THE Painter | THE Stylist was born. Kirsty says "Playing with furniture, wall art & knick knacks inside the home has been a lifelong love of mine. I love homes that burst with personality & life. I'm not limited to what you can buy, our home is filled with items I have found on road side collection & given it a paint/recover or complete transformation. Although my personal style is very eclectic {the older the better}, I also have a love & respect for clean lines & modern looks. Creating a room my client will walk into & feel like they don't want to leave is always my inspiration." Matt says "I completed my apprenticeship in 2009, after working in my Dad's family painting business. I take the utmost care & precision in my work, treating each project as if it was my own home. I am meticulously clean & take probably too long with preparation, I need to leave the job ensuring it is perfect & will endure the test of time. Ultimately, having a professional paint your home is a luxury & I want my clients to feel like they have made a good investment from my services." Matthew & Kirsty have two children, Noah & Holly & three x 4 leg variety children. Their home is always filled with family, friends & animals & love nothing more than a play at the dog beach.
