A place to talk about the theatre and art you create and see at Queen's University and beyond.
The School of Drama and Music Colloquium is a discussion group for students and professors to talk about and study theatre and the arts in a non-classroom setting. All students and staff are invited to attend these monthly meetings which will include short presentations by one student and one professor followed by an opportunity to discuss the topics addressed. The topics can range widely from shows currently in production at Queen’s to students’ and professors’ individual research projects. This provides students an opportunity to learn alongside their professors and peers without the traditional roles found in a classroom setting and free from the pressure of evaluation. There are no wrong answers and everyone involved is encouraged to challenge themselves intellectually to contribute to interesting and engaging discussion.
