Description
The Swallowed Anchor is the perfect place for a mid-week date or group booking for a night out. We offer a mixture of traditional and modern tapas with produce sourced from quality, local suppliers. Enjoy a range international and local vino with a selection of fan favourite and nautical inspired craft beers. Owned by a couple of young Navy Veterans, we've tried to incorporate a little bit of our Navy life into the bar for you to experience. In Navy slang, to 'swallow the anchor' means to retire from the sea and settle down ashore. So come and sit out in the sun with a cold pale ale and listen to some live music or relax on the lounges with a glass of red. We hope we can cater for whatever your looking for!
