Description
80 Grade 9 girls will be selected to attend one of two one-day workshops at the University of Waterloo. Girls will participate in hands-on activities showcasing the real world applications of mathematics. Attendees will get a chance to meet with women who have graduated with a degree in mathematics and have gone on to pursue exciting careers. The dates for 2014 are Friday, May 9, 2014 and Friday, May 23, 2014. Applications will be accepted online at http://www.cemc.uwaterloo.ca/events/tam.html beginning Friday, February 14 at 4 pm and ending Monday, March 3 at 9 am.
