Tierra Del Sol is the family farm of Barb and John and our four children. Located in the scenic river valley near Saskatoon, Tierra Del Sol is Spanish for "land of the sun." What better title since Saskatoon boasts 320 days of sunshine per year! Our business is flowers. Tierra Del Sol has acres of flowers for purchase. Tierra Del Sol is a labour of love - a love of the land and a love of flowers. Cut Flowers Our season starts with peonies in June, followed by lilies in July. By mid July the rest of our annuals are coming into their own. We have over 8000 glads in the ground in every colour of the rainbow. Such glads you’ll never have seen. The individual flowers could be an arrangement on their own. U Pick Flowers Come on out to the farm and spend some time in nature's home. Take home some of her sunkissed bounty. Dried Decor Fall is also a busy time for us. We grow many different grains and grasses that can be used to decorate for the Fall season. Whether it is your home, business, special event or conference we can help make it come to life. We grow ornamental gourds and pumpkins as well as with various corn stalks, wheats and specialty grasses. The combinations are stunning. We will do up arrangements for you or you can come and harvest a variety and let your creative juices flow. Farmers Market Look for us downtown at the Farmers Market on Saturdays 8 - 2 and Sundays 10 - 3 . At the summer market we offer cut flowers and bouquets, so far the stars have been the lilies, gladiolas, and zinnias. In the fall along with the ornamentals we will be offering lily bulbs for sale. All have been successfully grown locally and will be labeled by colour, size and date of bloom. Retail Florist Supply Seasonally flowers are available to local florists. Availability and pricing will be supplied on request. Weddings and Special Events If you have a special event coming up we can help you make it even more special with the right flowers. If you are a bride who wants all pink or a conference coordinator who wants to complete the fall feel with specialty wheats or ornamental corn, gourds or pumpkins we will do our best to accommodate you. Contact us about "reserving" blooms and / or custom planting. We can accommodate u pick or supply you with cut product or floral arrangements. Pricing will be determined when details are finalized.
