TOME – meaning chapter, or a volume from a larger works. All TOME furniture is made from recycled timber but with a difference! The concept of TOME involves incorporating a relatively accurate history of where the timber came from and its previous use. This is done by working in conjunction with demolition companies and being able to directly source the timber from its former location. I love the benefits of recycling timber, not just for the environment, but aged timber has a certain warmth and distinct characteristics that seem to soften its appearance.
