How to become a consignor? Just bring your items into the store, no appointment necessary as we do not go through your items right away. You leave your items with us, allowing our staff to sort through them, to determine what items we will keep to sell within our store, note we may not accept everything that is brought in for many reasons. We choose the pricing, any items sold would be a 50/50 split, except for items that we will charge over $75, and then it would be a 60/40 split to you. After 45 days items that have not sold at this point we start our mark down process, starting at 25 percent and again after 60 days a mark down of 50 percent. If after 120 days if an item has not sold we will return it back to you, or donate it to charity, your choice. Any time someone brings items into the store that they request to have returned after these stages, we will allow up to one week for pick-up, after that we will donate it to charity due to limited space. We will give you online account, allowing you to see whether your items have sold or not, you can also check your balance whenever you want. At any point you can come into the store and use your credit towards other purchases in store, or collect your cash. If you request $50.00 or more, we ask that you give us 48hrs notice, to process a cheque. The items that we are looking for must be; in season, in very good to excellent condition, with no stains, holes, worn, woolen, frayed or damaged in anyway. All Items must be freshly washed or cleaned!!! Winter Season we do not accept summer items such as; tshirts, shorts, short sleeve onesies, dresses, dress shirts, splash pants, summer dresses, summer toys, summer foots wear, flats, rubber boots, and strollers, etc…Summer time we will not be accepting winter items such as; long sleeve, fleecy items, sweat shirts, jeans, corduroy, heavy coats, winter foots wear, etc…..We do not accept outdated clothing for more than 3 years or children's clothing from Walmart, Dominion, Target or Zellers brand names such as; Joe, Cherokee, George, Tuiti fruit, Simply Basic, or Walmart Disney as they are good quality, but they are affordable to begin with and from experience consumers do not want to purchase these brand names second hand. There is a limit of 30 pieces of children’s clothing only per visit, a suit is considered as one item, but there is no limit on other items. We accept Children’s Clothes from New Born to size 10, Children's Shoes and Maternity Clothes. Other items that we accept are Baby items like, swings, exersaucers, high chairs etc. If we have too many of the one item or have over stock in a certain size, we may pass on that particular item until further notice. Toys are also a huge seller for us, so we ask that if they require batteries that you bring them in with good working batteries, as items like that will not sell, if people cannot test them. Also we are asking for toys that are current, and we do not accept porcelain dolls and video games….If any items are not freshly washed, dirty, out of season, broken, torn, damaged, etc and not in good to excellent condition, no batteries, or you bring in more than 30 items, we will return them to you. Once we have gone through your items and inventoried them we will send you an email letting you know and then you can then bring in another bundle of items, we will not accept items daily..... Item we do not accept. -Items that are dirty, damaged, torn, woolen, faded, has holes, scuffed, stained, covered in pet hair, out of season or smells like cigarette smoke, baby vomit, damp/mild due or pets, etc.*We do not have a washing machine to clean these items. -Items that do not have batteries. -Recalled items, unless you also have the recall part. -Car seats and bases -Drop down side cribs. -Baby bottles, Nursing pumps and accessories. -Used undergarments, and cloth diapers. - Head Huggers (wrap around the neck style). -Potties. -Diapers, milk or any food, lotions, shampoo, creams, etc. -Stuffed Animals. - Brands Names such as: From Walmart, Dominion, Target and Zellers such as George, Joe, Cherokee, Bum, Tuti Fruiti, Simply Basic, and Walmart Disney because from experience consumers do not want to purchase these items second hand as they are affordable to begin with, but we will accept all maternity clothing no matter the brand name for now due to the limited supply of maternity clothes out there for pregnant women.
