Description

My name is Emily Barber, I am a 21 year old university student and research assistant at the UofR. I love pets, but cannot keep them where I live so I founded a home and pet-sitting service for extra income and a way to get my pet fix! I am currently growing my business with myself as only employee, but am considering soon expanding my business with a couple of helpers! I, personally, have extensive knowledge about dogs, cats, rodents, reptiles, and fish from years of retail pet sales and care training (UC Davis satellite program provided by PetValu). I have house and pet sitting experience as well and can provide references upon request. I can do live-in (Regina and surrounding area) or drop-by (Regina Only) services. Live-in: > move in within 6 hours of home-owner's departure > provide my own food > clean up after pets and self as necessary > bring in mail as necessary > play with and walk pets as requested > feed pets according to owner's specifications > stay available to check on dogs/let them out according to owner's desire (usually never leave dogs alone for more than 5/6 hours at a time) > shovel/mow lawns if requested ($20.00/wk additional fee) Drop by: > visit the house/pets daily for at least 1 hour > check perimeter of house outside and in looking for any problems > feed pets according to owner's specifications > clean up after pets as necessary > bring in mail as necessary > shovel/mow lawn if requested ($30.00/wk additional fee) Live-in service with pets runs $180.00/wk or $200.00/wk including shovelling or lawn care. Without pets is $80/wk or $100.00/wk including shovelling or lawn care. Drop by service with pets runs $80/wk or $110.00/wk including shovelling or lawn care. Without pets is $30.00/wk or $60.00/wk including shovelling or lawn care. *All prices subject to change depending on number of pets (more than 3 may result in higher price) and size of property (if shovelling or lawn care are requested). I require a short meet and greet (15 minutes) with home owner(s) and pets before owners' departure. If interested, please contact me via the phone number or email address provided.
