The Tulsa Retriever Club (TRC) is a non-profit, AKC sanctioned retriever club in Tulsa, Oklahoma with a diverse and dedicated membership from all over the state. We are brought together by our common interest in retrievers. We welcome members at all levels of experience, from the first-time retriever owner to those competing at advanced levels. The TRC maintains its commitment to an all-around Labrador Retriever, by holding annual events, education, and training programs including Hunt Tests and Field Trials. Whatever your interest or knowledge level about the world of retrievers, we look forward to getting to know you and your dog(s). Come on out to our next club meeting or contact our TRC officers from the Contacts Page for more information. The purpose for which the Tulsa Retriever Club is formed is: To promote the role of pure bred retrievers as hunting dogs and to provide a vehicle for retriever handlers to improve their skills and their education and working knowledge of retriever breeds in the following applications: gun dog, hunt test competitions, and field trial competitions. To provide an atmosphere of companionship between retriever owners and handlers, and to promote their involvement in training sessions and sportsmanlike competition in hunting tests and field trials. To conduct sanctioned and licensed AKC Hunting Tests and Field Trials under the rules and regulations of the American Kennel Club.

The club just got this awesome email. Trc pre hunt test training day: I would personally like to thank Lynn Laflore, Bob and Art (sorry I am terrible with names as I am a teacher) for spending time with me and my Boykin in the cold rain throwing marks yesterday. These guys are hardcore bad to the bone. Bob's boots were full of water and we were all soaked but what a great memory you gave me and my Boykin! When my little 6 mo old spaniel ran the bank and refused to pickup live pigeons in the pond they did not him criticize but stood in the rain and threw extra marks for him. I would be proud to train and hunt with these gentlemen anytime or anywhere. TRC you have some really great member! Sincerely Bob Stewart Sent from my iPhone
