New to Stonecroft Ministries? Here is a little bit about Stonecroft: Who is Stonecroft Ministries? Stonecroft shares the Gospel with women worldwide. More than 25,000 Stonecroft-equipped volunteers regularly invite the women of their communities to start a relationship with the God of the Universe through His Son Jesus Christ. Volunteers across the U.S. and in more than 30 other countries use Stonecroft's outreach resources, training, and Stonecroft Bible Studies to share the Gospel. And, for more than 75 years, Stonecroft women have relied upon prayer to advance our mission. Stonecroft is a 501(c) 3 non- denominational nonprofit organization, a member of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA), and a recipient of Charity Navigator's coveted 4-star rating for sound fiscal management. Our History Mrs. Helen Duff Baugh established The Christian Business Women's Council of America in 1938 as a dinner program in which the Gospel of Jesus Christ was presented to career women in cities across America. In 1948, Miss Mary E. Clark, former businesswoman and missionary in Maine, joined Mrs. Baugh to help lead the rapidly growing evangelistic and missionary organization, which by this time reached out to women in all stages and walks of life. When the ministry's international headquarters re-located in 1952 to the Stonecroft land in Kansas City, Missouri, the group of outreach ministries took on the property's name. Many of us are letting God use us each month throughout the year to be a part of transforming women’s lives for eternity! Consider joining us! Our group will be forming teams and will begin hosting events once a month in October. It is our plan to have 8 day events (Nov, Dec, Feb, Mar, May, June, August, and Sept) around the lunch hour during the year and 4 night events (Oct, Jan, April, July) held after work on a week night. Please keep in mind that we will have team members who can only participate during the day and others who can only participate at night. (Some may be able to do both, but that is not required!) Our target audience is women who are pre-Christians, women who have never entered into having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We provide a safe non-threatening atmosphere where each of us can invite our neighbors, co-workers, friends, relatives, etc. who have either had a bad experience with a church or Christianity or have simply never been exposed to the gospel. It is a great way to reach people in a fun way and it is so exciting to see people’s lives changed forever! We will have a fun program with either a style show, demonstration, something of interest to most women. We also have an inspirational speaker who will share for 20-25 minutes toward the end of the program. Our speakers are specifically trained to share their personal story (free of Christianese) in a simple, yet effective way so that all can understand their need for a Savior. At the end of the meeting, all will be given the opportunity to pray a prayer silently to invite Jesus Christ to be the Lord of their lives. We have seen God do miraculous things through our events.
