The University of Adelaide Wine Club The UAWC is an association for the promotion of wine culture, knowledge, and appreciation at the University of Adelaide. Members come from a variety of academic backgrounds to further their knowledge of wine and the wine industry through our events which we aim to be enjoyable, relaxed but also educational. Students and staff from all backgrounds are welcome to attend meetings and events. The UAWC actively works to provide a range of events which are ‘beginner friendly’ and for the more advanced wine enthusiast. The UAWC’s broad focus extends beyond degustation and viticulture to all aspects of the wine industry from sales and supply chain logistics to brand identity and marketing both domestically and internationally. The UAWC is able to assist industry bodies in talent recruitment from a variety of disciplines at the University of Adelaide and aims to better inform students of changing HR demands within the industry.
