Description
During the school year, the U of A Rugby Club offers opportunities for both students and non-students of all skill levels to be involved in the wonderful sport of rugby. This allows for exposure of self-improvement and a friendly, welcoming environment. In the regular season of play, we compete as a typical 15s squad against other Alberta universities such as U of C, Mount Royal, and U of L. We also put together a competitive team to play in 7s Rugby at various times when tournaments are held. Very recently, our club has been given the opportunities to attend all kinds of tournaments including the National University 7s Rugby Championship, the Hindson Cup, Jasper 7s, Banff 10s, and Trollsfest. This is all possible because of the dedication of our terrific members.
