The Center for Native American Health (CNAH) is a University of New Mexico program. Our goal in Student Development is to outreach, recruit, retain, and support Native American students as they pursue health-related careers.
CNAH has been active in New Mexico tribal and off-Reservation American Indian communities for a number of years with a focus on three major areas: UNM HSC student recruitment and retention, education and training, and research. The Center for Native American Health is the flagship program at the University of New Mexico for Native American student health career development. CNAH is the resource center for fostering partnerships with tribes and communities in addressing health disparities for the enrichment of Native American health and well being.
