Inspired by Professor Nathan Funk's PACS 201 class, the Peace and Conflict Studies Society has been reborn! We are a group of students who want to promote peace in the face of destructive conflict. At pacsoc, we believe that education and action are the key to bringing about change. You can find us attending documentary screenings, protests and volunteering in the Waterloo area and beyond. If you're a UW student and have a passion for peace (but don't mind the occasional snack break), please join us in working toward a more equitable global community.
