The UW private practice optometry club was founded to provide students with opportunities to learn about this mode of practice and build their entrepreneurship skills while in school. Our mission is to ensure that you are better prepared succeed as an independent optometrist post graduation. We can do this by providing you with the following membership perks: -Access to speakers with topics on opening and managing a clinic -Opportunities to meet and discuss with successful private practice optometrists -Workshops on various practice management topics -Travel grants available to attend optometry conferences in Canada and the US -Free business card holder WE ARE STILL ACCEPTING MEMBERS!!! Membership is open to all UW optometry school students. We are here to create a network of colleagues working together to advance our careers, private practice, and optometry as a whole.
