Description
The company was registered in 2004. Its mandate was then to create theatrical opportunities for children and attract them into artistic activities with an aim of growing them into professional art performers. Since many of those children have graduated as professional dancers, the mandate of the organization has grown too: it is now to create high quality classical ballets for adults and children in order to promote the appreciation of the classical arts by attracting new audiences to ballet.

The company is a resident of Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts. The Centre’s very first ballet performance was Sleeping Beauty staged by Victoria Ballet Company on March 9 and 10, 2009. The show was accepted so warmly by the audience that the Centre offered Victoria Ballet Company the exclusive rights to stage the Nutcracker in December of 2009, and every following year. Other ballets by the Company are Cinderella, Four Seasons, and Les Sylphides. More ballets are in pending projects. The company works now in collaboration with opera companies that need quality choreography.
