The Watermill Tavern is located at the Penny Royal in Paterson Street Launceston. Our emphasis is to highlight Tasmanian food products, produce superior flavour & offer our guests sincere value. We proudly support Tasmanian farmers by sourcing our produce from a variety of farm gates. We pride ourselves in offering sincere value and are becoming well known for our flavoursome steaks and fresh seafood. The Watermill offers a casual dining environment and a blend of modern, contemporary and Australian comfort food. FUNCTIONS The Owls Nest private dining room is perfect for any occasion, comfortably seating approx. 40 guests and 60+ for a cocktail party. The Mill Deck is a private deck overlooking the Tamar River and is a popular summer venue for cocktail parties. The Watermill Tavern is open for breakfast and dinner 7 days per week from 5.00pm.
