Description

President: Christina Nunez Director: Gerardo Perez Secretary: Lauren Collins We participate in national campaigns to raise awareness, such as the Day of Silence, National Coming Out Day, No name calling week, Transgender Day Of Rememberance, Harvey Milk Day, GSA Day, or locally organized campaigns. This year we will be attending Wichita Pride as a group, along with The Bully Movie. We will be giving you more information the day of our first meeting which will be held on September 5th. In this group we will be covering the following subjects; Homophobia (Ways to prevent it), Questions about the terms ''Transgender, Agender, Lesbian, Gay, Biesexual, Tri-sexual, & Queer. We will try to figure out ways to prevent homophobia, prevent bullying, & sexual harassment. We will not tolerate any type of hatred. We will be available if anyone ever needs any type of advice, in need of help, or you just want somebody to talk too.
