Building the champions of tomorrow through excellence in swimming. The Wichita Swim Club has been in existence for more that 60 years. We are as proud of our past as we are excited by our future. Our stability and excellence ranks us amongst the nation's finest swim clubs and solidifies us as Wichita's best youth program. You will notice a great facility, a dedicated, professional staff and lots of smiling swimmers. What we count on, however, is a dedicated and community minded army of parents to help us make the Wichita Swim Club a reality through carpooling, volunteering, meet management, and fund raising. Our tremendous program didn't happen by accident so we hop you will make it your mission to continue the tradition and make this a better organization for everybody.

Description

Some of the names you will see on our record board and wall of achievement might impress you. Four of our swimmers have claimed a spot on the US Olympic team: Jeff Farrell in 1960, Ron Neugent in 1980, and Caroline Bruce and Jarrett Perry in 2004. Anne Mahoney and Caroline Bruce have both won national titles representing WSC, Anne in 1987, 1988, and 1989 and Caroline in 2003. Richard Quick, former WSC swimmer and coach, served as Head Coach for the US Olympic Team in 1988 and 2000. Our founder Bob Timmons, Jeff Farrell, and Richard Quick are all in the Kansas Sports Hall of Fame.
