We strive to make the life of a Muslim student convenient, productive and enjoyable. As an MSA, our goal is to promote a positive image of Islam by bringing together communities through the principles of Islam. Promoting an awareness of Islam on Laurier campus Clarifying and educating about the ideas and concepts of Islam Providing a social environment and network for Muslim students Practicing active citizenship within communities to make a difference Some events and initiatives that we have held in the past include: Smile, It’s Sunnah Basketball Tournaments Building Communities: Islamic Awareness Week Sister’s Modest Fashion Show Eid Dinners Arab Spring Lecture by Dr.Tariq Ramadan Laurier MSA strives to provide a social and comfortable environment for Muslims to collaborate, communicate and create!
