Sanctuary in the City - Yoga Community is Saskatoon’s by donation yoga and community space in the heart of Downtown. We invite you to participate with us to create this positive environment for healing and change, welcoming all ages, all faces, all ways. Our practice at the Sanctuary is to support universal accessibility to all aspects of yoga: philosophy, history, postures, meditation, breath, and unity. We reduce the barriers that prevent access to the tools that yoga provides by working with flexible contributions of currency, time, or expertise in exchange for our class and event offerings. We turn our prosperity back to the community with support initiatives including community classes for adults and youth, group volunteering, and educational support. The Sanctuary is a calming space for nurturing the self, a space for dissolving harmful patterns, staying present in the truth of both suffering and joy, setting intentions, healing, and manifesting, all in support of and supported by community. We recognise the many paths of yoga and life, holding space for anyone to create well being and explore authentic spirituality.
