Yoga means 'Union' Yoga is an ancient Sanskrit word meaning 'Union': Union between body, mind and spirit; Living in harmony with nature and with others in our community. 'Kula' is also a Sanskrit word, meaning 'Community." At The Yoga Kula Co-op, we extend our practice to building connection within the local yoga community and the community at large, in alignment with the principles of physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and environmental health. As a soon-to-be registered not-for-profit co-operative, our organizational structure reflects our commitment to building community from the grassroots up, engaging our members as fully participating owners in our dynamic yoga community centre.
