Description

Meditative yoga practice with the emphasis on breathing and flowing, dynamic movement through asana (physical postures). I teach at the Vale Spa and Resort, St David's Hotel & Spa and Cogan Leisure Centre. I'm also currently teaching 2 drop in classes in Conway Church, Pontcanna CF11 9NT on Thursdays: 7pm - This class will focus on strength and flexibility through flowing sequences of yoga postures, with a short period of seated breathing practice to finish. Beginners are welcome but this is unlikely to be suitable for those recovering from injury or with limited movement. 8pm - This class will incorporate gentle strength building, stretching and relaxation. We will usually start with standing postures and gradually work our way down to sitting or lying. We will also have a short seated breathing practice to finish. Beginners are welcome and this class will be suitable for those with reduced mobility or needing gentler movement. Also suitable for those who've already done their workout for the day and need to cool down and relax. Bring a blanket or towel and a cushion or pillow. The drop-in rate for either class is £7.50 but if you sign up for the half term (6 classes) the cost is only £30 and you can choose each week which class you would rather do.
