General Info

本著星雲大師「佛光普照三千界，法水長流五大洲」之宏願，故本地信眾發起興建「北卡佛光山」，期望為大眾提供一正信學佛之道場。道場預建地為一萬五仟平方呎，規劃有佛堂、禪堂、教室、會議室、圖書館、廚房、齋堂、滴水書坊及停車場等設備。 未來，本寺將以弘揚「人間佛教」為宗旨，並致力於「以教育培養人才」、「以文化弘揚佛法」、「以慈善福利社會」、「以共修淨化人心」的推動。除各種法會共修、佛學講座，亦配合北卡佛光協會舉辦家庭普照、親子聯誼、合唱團、讀書會、社區公益服務、才藝教室、臨終關懷、急難救助、協助會員信徒辦理各種婚、喪、喜、慶等事宜。 而今，籌建道場之經費有賴諸位善信大德共同發心，令此人間佛教道場得以建設，佛法慧命續以弘傳。所謂「三寶門中福好修，一文施捨萬文收，不信但看梁武帝、曾施一笠管山河。」經中亦記載著：「若人發心布施造佛塔廟，將獲身相端嚴、不墮貧賤、福智圓滿等殊勝功德。」 在此，衷心祈願有緣人士共襄盛舉，或隨喜、或按月捐助建寺功德基金。所謂「聚沙成塔、集腋成裘。」，凡我佛教功德主，盍興乎來，則功德無量矣！
