A travel agent accused of stealing thousands of dollars of holiday funds from 45 clients has appeared in the Melbourne Magistrates Court. Jordan Dittloff, a former president of the Geelong Young Liberals, handed himself in to police in west Melbourne this afternoon. Police allege the 27-year-old stole money from clients who booked their holidays through his agency. He's been charged with 35 counts of theft. An application for bail was not opposed by prosecutors and he'll face the Geelong Magistrates Court on the 18th of September.
