Aberdeen Cyrenians supports homeless individuals in the North East of Scotland by meeting their basic needs and identifying the underlying issues to their homelessness. Originally started in 1968 by University of Aberdeen students the organisation has grown drastically since and has supported over 50,000 individuals over its 40 years.

Description

Aberdeen Cyrenians meets the basic needs of its service users which includes water, shelter, food, clothing and toiletries. As well as their basic needs we look at identyifying the underlying issues to their homelessness and support them with these issues. These could include mental health, learning disabilities, substance misuse, abuse, unemployment, lack of education and a lack of finances.
