Getting here from the city Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC) is located immediately adjacent to the A90 trunk road in Bridge of Don and is 3 miles from the city centre. Parking at AECC The ‘Pay & Display’ system costs £5 per car and £10 per coach. Ticket machines are situated at various locations in car parks 4, 5 and 6 surrounding the AECC Arena. There are a mixture of ticket machines on site, some will accept exact change only, others will accept all major credit and debit cards as well as exact cash in the form of coins, notes will not be accepted at any machine and change will not be given. The machines will also provide a receipt if required. Tickets must be purchased on arrival at the venue and clearly displayed inside vehicles. Wardens will be patrolling the car parks and will issue fines where valid parking tickets are not displayed. Fines will also be issued to cars parking in restricted areas or parking in a disabled bay without the appropriate blue badge. This service is operated by Local Parking Security Limited. AECC is only a ten minute taxi ride from Aberdeen train station and a short taxi journey to AECC from the city centre will cost approximately £10 - £15. This is an estimation, please check with specific taxi companies regarding pricing. The Centre is also easily accessible by car and offers ample parking on site. AECC is located on the Redline and Blackline bus routes and can be accessed by the regular number 1, 2 and 28 bus services. A Park and Ride service also operates from Bridge of Don. Special delegate bus passes can be obtained by event organisers at reduced rates.
