Did you know that most manufacturers will let you trade out of your lease early?? They are especially motivated if you are trading out of your current lease and into another within the same manufacturer's car line. Its a Win/Win... you've got a brand new car, with a new bumper to bumper warranty and they have a customer for another 3/4 year lease.

Did you know that there's a 'scientific' reason for that "4 SQUARE" Worksheet the salesman uses to present numbers?? The goal is to get you thinking about so many different pieces of the puzzle that you get confused. DON'T ever be a "payment buyer". Remember the rule of thumb that every $1000 in amount financed = about $18-$25/month in payment, you should have a reasonable idea of what your payment may be, when you first start looking at cars. If the saleman has you thinking of too many things, you'll start thinking about the payment he's showing you - not realizing that the car has never been discounted... and what finance rate is he using to 'ballpark' you??? The "Addendum Sticker" adds $99 for Nitro filled tires... How can you be sure it's Nitro? What about $699 for a PINSTRIPE?? $799 for Paint Protection (something they try to sell you a Second time in the finance office if you're not paying attention) and My own personal favorite -- $2495 MARKET ADJUSTMENT.... what does that mean, anyway?
