Abundant Life Ministries (ALM) strives to provide a place where people can come and be ministered to through the teaching and preaching of the word of God. ALM is a home missions work that began over thirty years ago when the daughter of Air Force Sergeant James L. Fitts began attending Sunday school not far from the Air Force base where he and his family had been stationed. His daughter's enthusiasm for Sunday school and the word of the Lord did not go without notice by James and his wife, Beverly. Soon they were attending the small church helping wherever they could. It was here that James & Beverly began their ministries, thanks to their daughter and the leading of God. The Air Force proved to be fertile ground for the Fitts’. Wherever their travels and the Air Force took them, they witnessed and ministered to military personnel and to civilians. Over the years the Fitts family grew and James & Beverly were blessed to have six more beautiful children. After twenty years in the Air Force, and seven children later, James and Beverly were led of the Lord to plan for a home missions church that would be established in Anchorage, Alaska. James decided to retire early from the Air Force to answer God’s call. In 1992 Abundant Life Ministries was officially established in the city of Anchorage Alaska under the leadership and overseeing of Pastor James L. Fitts and First Lady Beverly Fitts. Since then, Abundant Life Ministries has been a place where all that come receive sound and uncompromised preaching and teaching of the word of God. Just as important, Abundant Life Ministries is a church where everyone who comes is somebody.

Pastor Fitts, First Lady Beverly Fitts, and the Leadership Team of ALM will stand in agreement with you for God’s perfect will to be done in your life. If it concerns you, it concerns God.
