Hi, and welcome to my facebook page. Accounts4Childcarers specialises in Self Assessment and Bookkeeping Services for registered childminders. Prices start from just £12.50 per month, or £150 per year for a comprehensive bookkeeping, end of year accounts and tax return service. If you prefer to do your own bookkeeping, then the annual tax return will cost from £75. I do offer early bird discounts, so its worth getting in touch well before 31st January! My aim is to keep standards high but overheads low, allowing me to pass the savings onto you. I was myself a registered childminder for six years, then worked as an Early Years play advisor, retraining as a bookkeeper once my children reached secondary school age, taking qualifications in bookkeeping and preparation of self assessment tax return. Therefore, I can offer a unique combination of understanding the way a childminding business operates, with sound knowledge of accounts. I used to do my own books when I was working as a childminder to try and save money, but with the hindsight of the bookkeeping training realised that this had been a false ecomony as I hadn't claimed for everything that I could have done. I am a member of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers and have a Practice Licence allowing me to offer Bookkeeping and Self Assessment for sole traders. I also hold full Professional Indemnity Insurance, and am registered under anti-money laundering legislation.
