Tuckertime Lures
Adelaide , SA null Australia

Tuckertime Lures was started by Heath Bassett in the north eastern suburbs of Adelaide in 1993. Heath's first creations were small minnow style lures crafted from cedar that were designed to catch the then abundant redfin and trout in the upper reaches of the River Torrens. Fish catching success was immediate, and so a teenager's life was forever changed. Heath then turned his attention to hand crafting timber lures for Australian native freshwater species such as golden perch and the iconic murray cod. Again success was immediate, and soon Heath was toiling away in the workshop experimenting with new designs and materials to satisfy his fishing requirements. By the early 21st century word was out on the street about Heath's fish catching creations, and thus a hobby business was born. Lure collectors and fishermen alike have been queuing up for these handcrafted works of art - every single lure painstakingly hand carved and painted with intricate detail which has to be seen to be believed. After making and selling several thousand timber models, Heath turned out his first moulded plastic lures in 2011. Rigorous field testing has ensured that the new generation of Tuckertime Lures are virtually unbreakable in the most extreme of fishing environments - the inland rivers of the Murray-Darling Basin. We trust that Tuckertime Lures will help enhance your fishing experience and serve you well for many years to come. Happy fishing to you all Heath Bassett & Simon Cardone
