Dreams can be built... The Afonso family emigrated to Australia from Portugal in 1980. Upon settling in Wodonga, John Afonso set himself up to become one of the finest tradesmen in the Albury Wodonga area, turning his hand to non-standard feature work in the fields of concreting, masonry, stonework, solid plastering, ceramic tiling and modern cement rendering. With sons Pedro and David serving well groomed apprenticeships under the guidance of their father, they have now together established Afonso Building Solutions Pty Ltd - a privately owned and operated family building and development company which serves Albury, Wodonga, Wangaratta and surrounding areas. Company Director Pedro Afonso began his Building career as a carpenter, and is now a qualified builder in both residential and commercial construction. David soon followed and obtained his qualification as a domestic builder unlimited, which has given the company improved diversification and the ability to expand. Daughter Jessica Afonso joined the family business in 2010 as a Project Consultant. Jessica works with clients from the time of sale through to completion, advising them on design, interiors and colour selections. Afonso Building Solutions has a proven track record for providing a unique, quality built landmark, catering for all budgets and facets of development. The company prides itself in its quality workmanship and in the delivery of safe and efficient construction methods.
