You'll know who our selected charities are and how they benefit because we've developed a formula that is completely transparent on how they benefit. We appreciate that entrants in our events train diligently to achieve their goals and spend hard earned dollars on an entry fee. Experience the finish line of San Antonio's premier running and fitness event... INSIDE the Alamodome! The 2016 edition is working to recreate the same race routes it changed to in 2015, including the Alamo Half which featured over 5 and a half miles through Fort Sam Houston, the first time in years an event has passed through the base. The H-E-B Alamo Run Fest is an event that is uniquely different from the large, national series events and truly "a San Antonio event filled with energized heart". Supported by a small 'army' of incredible volunteers and with entertainment along the course, the finish line experience will live with you long after the perspiration of the effort has dried. With three distances to choose from - Half Marathon, 10K and 5K, plus a great Kids run - it's an event for the whole family! Run or walk into early Spring in San Antonio on February 20 & 21, 2016.
