Alaska Native Lutheran Church's services are Sunday 7:00 pm.
Alaska Native Lutheran Church (ANLC) started as Native Outreach Ministries and evolved into a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America in order to primarily serve the Alaska Native population, but we are gladly open to all those who are interested in learning about the love of Christ. Our main languages are English and Inupiaq, a language of the Alaskan Native of the Seward Peninsula. We are the only Lutheran congregation in Anchorage to hold a Sunday evening service at 7:00 pm. We are a family-friendly congregation open to families of all ages and sizes. We sing traditional "old timey" hymns such as "Precious Memories" and "Sweet Hour of Prayer". Two of our most beloved traditions are the Christmas Bazaar in winter during which time we sell authentic Alaskan Native art-work made by members of the congregation and community as well as our celebration of New Years Eve which we celebrate with traditional Eskimo dances, singing and games.
