Alaska Native Lutheran Church's services are Sunday 7:00 pm.
Alaska Native Lutheran Church (ANLC) started as Native Outreach Ministries and evolved into a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America in order to primarily serve the Alaska Native population, but we are gladly open to all those who are interested in learning about the love of Christ. Our main languages are English and Inupiaq, a language of the Alaskan Native of the Seward Peninsula. We are the only Lutheran congregation in Anchorage to hold a Sunday evening service at 7:00 pm. We are a family-friendly congregation open to families of all ages and sizes. We sing traditional "old timey" hymns such as "Precious Memories" and "Sweet Hour of Prayer". Two of our most beloved traditions are the Christmas Bazaar in winter during which time we sell authentic Alaskan Native art-work made by members of the congregation and community as well as our celebration of New Years Eve which we celebrate with traditional Eskimo dances, singing and games.

ANLC's fall conference was a wonderful success, we are so thankful to so many, especially those that cleaned and set up each night, during and after potluck, everyone that brought food, btw we had so much food we had to ask folks to take a plate home. Thanks to Roy and Kristen for the guitar and piano accompaniment, thanks to everyone that blessed with song and testimony. Everyone that brought refreshments, the van driver and nursery attendants, those that shared their homes, and everyone who came and shared the evening with us. We were truly blessed.
September 29, 2014 Dear Friends, I send a greeting from the church council at Alaska Native Lutheran Church as we prepare for fall conference. This year fall conference will be held October 17, 18 and 19 beginning each evening at 7 pm. Our theme verse is 1 Peter 5:7 "Casting all your care upon him because he cares for you" NKJV. A potluck is scheduled for Saturday, October 18 at 5:30 pm. We will have rides available for those needing rides, please call the church early in the day as the van fills quickly - 277-3930. Child care will be available all three evenings. If you know of anyone needing housing, please let us know as soon as possible so we can try to accommodate the need. We welcome anyone and everyone, although this is a Lutheran conference, the church council wants to send a warm welcome to any one of any denomination. Please continue to hold ANLC in your prayers as we are in the call process seeking God's guidance in calling a new pastor. We are excited; if there is anything we can do for you or someone in your congregation, please don't hesitate to let us know. We will see you at fall conference! In Christ, Susie Delgado ANLC council President

I feel very fortunate to have served Alaska Native Lutheran Church since my Call as Pastor in October of 2012. The experiences that my husband Russ and I have had with this congregation and the people have been invaluable and I believe that I have made a difference in the life of many. However, I do not think that the congregation of Alaska Native Lutheran Church needs to be pastored in a way that I am called to be at this time. -- Pastor Sara Quigley Brown Pastor Sara's last Sunday is June 22 we thank Pr. Sara for her ministry to ANLC.
