The winning post up again. The start of the process getting ready for the first race meeting. Matt and Dylan from Wildav Engineering (see we do use our sponsors) with VP Jeff after the reinstallation.
Not much happening on the racing side at the moment. Track modifications are progressing with replacement of winning post and related signage this week. Trials continue on the second and fourth Tuesdays every month, nominations through harness racing NSW as per normal.
Trials abandoned last night because of the wet weather. Track looks good though and settling down well after the removal of the running rail. Next race meeting is on the 8th of July, a Friday. In the meantime trials (weather permitting!) the second and fourth Tuesday nights of every month.
What it looks like down the back straight now. Nearly finished, tomorrow will wrap it up.

The Albury Harness Racing Club are looking for a couple of volunteers. It is not a glamorous job, but we need some people to check in horses trainers and drivers for race meetings. We need them on track at least 90 minutes before the first race, and stay on course until 1 hour before the last race or until the last horse/trainer/driver has checked in. We will feed and water you and give you a seasons pass. Race days are usually Saturday evenings including New Years Eve, some Tuesday nights or Friday afternoons, a total of 10 meetings per year. Anyone looking to volunteer please call Sue van de Ven on 0408698380 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
