Dr. Alexander decided at a young age to become a chiropractor due to the success and relief after a football back injury through chiropractic care. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and at Park College in Kansas City, MO. He received his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree and did his internship at Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, TX. Since June 1993, he has practiced in Lexington, TN, where he resides with his wife, Mary Carol, and four children, Eli, Paul, Kerr and Sophie. He is an avid kayaker, photographer, and competitive shooter. Along with running a thriving practice, Dr. Alexander has been very involved as an officer with the Tennessee Chiropractic Association and currently serves on the Tennessee Board of Chiropractic Examiners. He also serves on various local community boards and committees. As a Chiropractor with experience, Dr. Alexander is committed to promoting optimal health and well being of patients. With a primary focus on low back pain, neck pain and headache relief, he also treats a multitude of other ailments. He holds tightly to the premise that the nervous system controls the whole body and that the spine allows and controls all communication and function to the organs, muscles and tissues.
