This home visiting service offers families assistance with any feeding or sleeping difficulty that they may be experiencing. The service will provide evidence based research information on how to help with these issues. The Breastfeeding issues can be at any stage through the breastfeeding cycle, from the onset of lactation to the weaning of lactation and all stages in between. The Responsive Settling Approach to sleep, is a gentle approach to assist your infants in creating better sleep habits. The Responsive Settling Approach bases itself on recognizing the cues that the baby is exhibiting and then the parent identifying and responding to those cues. I will help parents and care givers to identify these normal infant behaviours. The sleeping support program would ordinarily take two weeks to become fully effective as I encourage parents to gently change their infants sleeping habits.
