We are the Mu Iota Chapter of the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity at the University of Kentucky. We are America's Leadership Development Fraternity.

ATΩ Kentucky Basic Facts: -142 Members -3.17 Cumulative GPA (4th on Campus) -In the 2011-20112 school year, ATΩ raised $45,003 for Charities and logged 7,420 service hours. INVOLVEMENT: The Brothers of Alpha Tau Omega are active in the following organizations/activities on campus: -Center for Community Outreach (CCO) -Christian Student Fellowship (CSF) -DanceBlue -Emerging Leader Institute -Fusion -Global Scholars Program -Inter-Greek Programming Assembly (IGPA) -InterFraternity Council (IFC) -SEAM Program -SnowCats -Student Activities Board (SAB) -Student Development Council (SDC) -Student Government Association (SGA) -Student Wellness Ambassadors -UK Club Lacrosse Team -UK Club Soccer Team -UK Honors Program -University Leadership Summit and other important groups which benefit the university and the community. LEADERSHIP: -Alpha Tau Omega is America's Leadership Development Fraternity. ATΩ iinvented LeaderShape, a leadership training program adopted by the US Senate. It is recognized as a premier leadership program by businesses and organizations across the United States. http://www.leadershape.org/ -Each year, Mu Iota sends brothers to ATΩ's Emerging Leaders Conference in Indianapolis, IN. -Also, Mu Iota sends two brothers to campus-based LeaderShape in Alabama, and two brothers to the national LeaderShape sessions in Allerton, Illinois, FOR FREE. -ATΩ men are leaders, as evident by our active participation and leadership in both the Greek and non-Greek community. BROTHERHOOD: -We are a close-knit fraternity. An ATΩ brother is a brother for life. Because of our excellent house location, the ATΩ house is an excellent spot to get together after class and play pool, watch UK games and other sporting events, play cornhole, etc. -Annual white-water rafting/camping on the Ocoee River in TN -Fall Formal to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina and Spring Formal to Gatlinburg, Tennessee -Brotherhood Retreat in February -Christmas Gift Exchange/Senior Roast -Viking Week: a week-long end of the year celebration full of brotherhood events, such as a Hooter's Night, wiffleball games, a Champ's Night, a cook-out, and a Senior Roast. PHILANTHROPY/IGPA/COMMUNITY EVENTS: -Gladiators. Partnered with Alpha Phi Sorority. This past year we raised just under $10,000 for the Wounded Warrior Project. -The Mini Masters Putt-Putt Golf Tournament. Partnered with Alpha Delta Pi Sorority. This past year we raised over $6,500 for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Bluegrass. -DanceBlue, many Taus hold committee positions and participate in the marathon. -Give Thanks, canned-food drive. Partnered with Chi Omega Sorority. This past year we collected 2,374 lbs. of food for God’s Pantry in Lexington. -Christmas with the Kids. Partnered with Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority. Provides Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the Lexington community.
