Description

Alpha Xi Delta is a women's fraternity in the Panhellenic Council dedicated to scholarship, community service and love for humanity. Since October 2007 when it was founded, the Iota Xi chapter of Alpha Xi Delta has been composed of the inspiring and talented young women studying at Worcester Polytechnic Institute--athletes, musicians, members of the student government, admissions staff and more. These ladies are not only leaders on campus and successful scholars but they also work hard each year for Autism Speaks, Alpha Xi Delta's national philanthropy. By organizing entertaining fundraisers such as Football FrenXi and Puzzlepalooza, groups on campus are brought together while raising money for autism research. Moreover, the sisters of Alpha Xi Delta participate in fundraisers with other fraternal organizations on the WPI campus, such as Legends of the Golden Goat, Big Brothers Big Sisters and Relay for Life. The bonds formed between the sisters of the Iota Xi chapter of Alpha Xi Delta are long-lasting and are based on the cherished values of service, love, individual growth and excellence.
