Description

Alyssa has been a makeup artist in the Edmonton area for several years. She pursued her passion for art and beauty by studying Fine Arts at the University Of Alberta, which lead to her discovery of makeup as a medium. Makeup allows her to connect with and transform people's lives the way no other artistic avenue can. Laura Mercier has said that "the immediate, positive impact that makeup has on someone" is what she loves most about being a makeup artist. Alyssa aims to make all of her clients look and feel beautiful, and empowers them to feel confident in their own skin. Alyssa has caught the attention of the beauty industry with her artistry. Most recently, her work won her a trip to Paris as the grand prize winner of a Lancome sponsored contest. Her makeup designs have also been featured in a past NARS collection and she was selected to learn from Laura Mercier herself this past winter in Toronto. Alyssa attends multiple courses and seminars yearly to stay on top of trends and techniques to offer the best possible experience for her clients. While her focus in makeup artistry is primarily beauty and fashion forward, she also loves fantasy makeup and body painting. She is experienced with both photography and film, including HD. Alyssa can't wait to work with you and create her next masterpiece.
