Who are we? We are the Alzheimer's Association Central & Western Kansas serving 68 counties in Kansas. We provide education, 24/7 Helpline (800-272-3900), care consultations, respite scholarships, and advocacy in search of a world without Alzheimer's The Alzheimer's Association, founded in 1980, provides more than 100,000 hours of education and support services through 300 local offices across the country. Our local office began in 1981, when a group looking for answers to the disease that had taken control of the lives of their spouse created a support group that eventually became the local office. Today, our local offices continues to forward the mission of the Alzheimer's Association, providing programs and services including support groups, local resources, respite care scholarships, education, a resource library, and a 24/7 Helpline (800-272-3900). We are supported by donations, memorials and fund-raisers.
