It was in the railway arches of Kings Cross (where the Euro Star lines are now). One of the first 'drive-through' hand washes in the UK with some pretty famous names coming through the doors, Jeremy Clarkson was a regular to the branch with his Ford Escort Cosworth! Hand washing cars in a 'drive-through' format quickly took off and today's clients can experience The American Carwash Company across five central London sites. Up to half a million cars are cleaned by The American Carwash team members each year. Now there are many different products you can clean your car with...... over the years we've tested pretty much all of the products on the market but the best (in our eyes) is the Autoglym range.
